KitchenAid Celebrating a Century Rebate

Offer Expires: 9/26/2019 to 12/31/2019 Must be postmarked by: 1/30/2020

Receive up to a $1600 rebate with purchase of qualifying KitchenAid Appliances. Rebate form must be postmarked by 1/30/2020.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

So many features ...

HeyDonn 7/22/2019

We bought the KitchenAid range to match our KA refrigerator. Love both. However, with all the range features, I'll need to spend time learning how to take advantage of all of them.

Good but a pain to clean

DarciAnnK 7/15/2019

Bought this range a few months ago. Overall it works very well and looks sharp. My biggest complaint would be trying to keep it clean. The controls are so sensitive that every time I wipe the top down one or both ovens try to start. The top grates are heavy and interlock so it is a pain to try and clean underneath them which needs to happen on a daily basis. The oven cleaning function is supposed to be steam cleaning and you are told not to use any oven cleaners or to put foil down in the bottom of the oven. The steam clean barely works though. I scraped off any excess spilled food and still had to re-scrape and run the steam clean multiple times and never got it completely clean.

new replacement

Scb19 7/6/2019

I bought a year ago it is a replacement for my jenn-aire which I loved. If you want a good self cleaning oven this is not for you. It does not come clean. The only section that comes clean is the bottom where you put distilled water. Very disappointed in this range. Takes a while to figure the stovetop. Be very careful what pans you put where so food does not burn.

STATE OF THE ART!

Irene M 6/24/2019

Our new Kitchenaid Range replaces a 25+ year old Viking. Since my Viking was so old I wasn't up to date all the new technology in appliances these days. Also, I purchased the Kitchenaid Range, site unseen as the model the salesrep sold me was not available on the floor. My Viking had a backsplash and I didn't realize the tilework didn't meet the counter so when the Kitchenaid Range was installed, I now have a 4" gap and the added annoyance/expense of how to fix this. The range itself is fine. It bakes, broils and roasts terrific! I like the cooktop with the various size burners and the griddle in the middle. Here are my negatives: I'm 65 with a bit of arthritis so cleaning it is a bit combersome as I have to lift the entire (right or left) grill (which is heavy) to get under it. There is a digital panel on top/front to turn on the oven. This is a weird spot because it can turn on so easily (accidentally) with a touch of your finger when cleaning or just reaching over. The Range also has this annoying fan that stays on after you shut the oven off. The fan stays on until the oven cools down. These are not problems, just something I need to get used to in the modern world.

Best appliance in our kitchen

Melissajb 6/10/2019

We replaced an ancient oven with this and it changed the look of thof kitchen so much. It is my favorite of all the appliances we bought. It as so many neat features I have not begun to learn them all yet. The warming drawer also is a little oven which in my small kitchen will be very helpful.

So Disappointed!

Hamilton255 6/2/2019

I thought this range had all the features I wanted...Installed it last September and as a single person do not use it frequently, but: -The oven lights have failed twice, so I suspect a short -The oven does not get clean at all using the aqua lift -The burner covers and grates are very difficult to keep clean -I hate that when turning on one burner all the burners spark until the one lights I really think I bought a very expensive lemon

Good luck if you buy this model

jane23 5/31/2019

Less than a year old and the panel would not work. It was replaced and worked fine but two years later it has again malfunctioned. Panel will beep when stove is not in use, many times I am ready to make dinner and the call service goes on and entire panel is dead. Then it will work ok for awhile and it goes beserk again. Even the clock can't keep the correct time. The front burner is out. When I bake cookies or brownies one part is baked more than the other half. The knobs do not stay in place and it is close to impossible to see when gas is on front burner. I called service today because the panel is beserk again. I find the top of the stove a pain to clean. The surface is not user friendly. The Aqua Clean feature is nearly useless. I like the overall design and the second oven. I have two other Kitchenaid appliances and have all had service calls with them. Sadly the quality seems lacking. I am a designer and the overall design is good but the quality is low. You need good design and quality which my three KitchenAid appliances lack. I need a new refridgerator and although I would prefer all our appliances to match I will not buy Kitchenaid. I rarely write a review but I wish I knew all its issues. If you decide to buy this stove buy an extended warranty. The odds are very high you will be using it.

Beauty

Raidur8 5/29/2019

I bought 6 Kitchen Aid appliances in Nov 2018 because of a kitchen remodel and this was one of them. Never had a convection oven so when my husband used it for the first time to cook chicken, he loved it. I love that I can cook eggs and bacon without a pan.

Convection/cooking fan

alvibee 5/29/2019

Although the range was purchased approximately 3 1/2 years ago, usage has been minimal. That being said there has been a grinding noise which I attributed to the fan not turning while in convection mode beginning within 2 years of very limited service. Now, this noise happens on basic bake as well. This range was part of a full Kitchen Aid appliance suite, now I have to find a trustworthy repair service to resolve the issue.

Year in Review with my KSGG700ESS Gas Range

Smokeman 5/15/2019

I've owned this model KSGG700ESS gas range from KitchenAid for over a year and as beautiful of an appliance that it is and as much as I want to be in love with it it suffers from some poor functional design and quality. Pros * Very attractive appliance * Large burners with high BTUs * Oven window is large and good lighting to peer through. * Oven is spacious and the steam and easy convection function works pretty well. Cons * Stainless material scratches easily * Burners don't do a good job of distributing flame across cooking surfaces, including cast iron, stainless, non-stick aluminum, etc, resulting in cool and hot spots. Large burners on 12" skillet pushed flames out causing cool spots in the center and smaller burners on 8" skillet had the opposite problem. * Burner knobs do not make micro adjustments to flame when going from L to M to H. Micro indicators would be useful here before coming to a stop on the next flame level. The smooth control would work too if it actually adjusted the flame. * The Aqualift cleaning system was horrible and just about worthless. Be prepared to use elbow grease for some deep scrubbing. * The touch control pad is sensitive and remembering to lock it down before wiping it down is a bit of a nuisance. It's also a good idea to not do this if something is in the oven or you risk shutting the cooking cycle down. * Oven fan seems to run for a long time after cooking is done. * Exterior surface gets pretty hot after cooking at high temperatures and for long periods. This makes me question the quality of insulation.

It is horrble

tjhz 5/8/2019

I purchased this range 3 years ago while doing a complete kitchen remodel. I tried the self clean and it does not self clean. After following instructions to the letter, the oven was not clean. After a few months the fan for the oven unit would not work. With the fan not working the oven would not work. Now 3 years later will baking the oven started clicking on and off and will not work. With my dinner half cooked. For the money paid you should be able to have an appliance for longer than 3 years before calling for repairs. I have had to call twice.

Doube Oven (Almost)

BTHS69 4/26/2019

The range was purchased to replace a previous KitchenAid that died during the cleaning cycle the day before we were having a dinner party for 22 neighbors. We originally didn't look at the KitchenAid due to the recent problem. But as we searched, we found issues with each of the units we looked at and when we found this model had a baking draw, we felt that was an ideal solution. Since we had it installed, we had the opportunity to host one major holiday and found the drawer to be too shallow for anything we had hoped to put in it to cook. We will plan accordingly and hopefully be able to use it with shallower pans in the future when we need 2 different temps. I does look good and feels to be of quality materials. Hopefully, it will last longer than the one it replaced.

I like the stainless steel surface of this range. Also, it has the warming drawer which to me serves as a second mini oven. It does take longer to boil water in my opinion. But the performance was not bad overall.

Worst self cleaning ever!

MikeSR 4/25/2019

We had an older KitchenAid gas stove, and the self cleaning was amazing! With this one, there is no where near enough heat to clean, and we spend more time manual cleaning after the self cleaning. I would never recommend this stove to anyone unless you want to self clean it yourself. Do not understand how KitchenAid can call this a self cleaning range.

DO NOT BUY!

Hcream 4/18/2019

We've had this oven for two years along with the microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator, and they've caused nothing but headaches since we bought them. Tonight, the screen on the oven stopped working for the 3rd time right as I was preparing dinner! We've invested thousands of dollars fixing the stove, refrigerator, and replacing the microwave in just over two years. I normally love kitchenaid's small appliances but but save yourself the money and try another brand. I've never had so many issues with appliances in my life. We're going to be doing another kitchen remodel and you can bet we're staying as far away as possible from these appliances.

A big upgrade

Robbie16 3/25/2019

As part of a total kitchen remodel, we replaced all of the 16 year old appliances with a kitchen aid package. This range/oven is a big part of that upgrade. It has so many features on it that I haven't begun to discover all of what it can do. The BTU's on the 4 burners are nicely varied and powerful at the top end. The center grill burner is a treat for pancakes, bacon, etc.

Peeling chrome is cutting our fingers

Walter Boland 3/25/2019

Bought this stove August 2017 and the rings behind the knobs began peeling chrome about 3 months ago. This has led to my wife cutting her fingers on 2 occasions. Called customer service and they wouldn't help. This $2500 stove has a 1 year warranty. Really? I have tried to load pictures but this application crashes every time I try. I guess KitchenAid does not want you to see these pictures. Cheap plastic chrome right over the major heat source. Poor engineering and now they won't step up and rectify the problem, Good luck with getting another penny from me.

WORST DECISION to purchase this range !

CongoMountain 3/19/2019

I have to say I am truly annoyed to have purchased this range model. I've had been using this range for 2.5 years and use it 3 times a week at most. The first range I bought was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Good thing the retailer were kind of enough to replace it completely since the issue wasn't discovered immediately(we haven't moved into the home yet). Next issue which occurred within 6 months of ownership was the the cooling fan went bad. We had it replaced but noticed the cooling fan runs for OVER AN HOUR to cool the range now. Prior to changing the fan, it would take only 20-30minutes. Kitchen aid and the service engineer claims it's normal. I don't believe it. Now, I have a new issue where the range won't preheat. It stays on Lo forever, like the heating element doesn't turn on to heat it up. Have to shut off and turn it back on to HOPEFULLY get it working( it has taken multiple times to do this ). Not sure if it's the igniter or the heating element itself. Absolute nightmare with this range. I will not recommend it to anyone. And on a side note, the appliance bulb went out shortly after receiving this replacement. I will be contacting corporate to address these issues and range.

Turned in our Decor and got a winner.

Robin9 3/17/2019

This stove is great. We got one with the smaller oven on the top. WE use the smaller oven the most. Great for cookies. The Main oven fits everything and heats quickly. I usually only use the convection setting.

No self clean

Terry37 3/8/2019

Range was purchased Sep. 2018. Advertised as AquaLift self clean. This feature does not work. Followed instructions as noted but still had to scrub and scrape for over an hour to remove spills. Not the same as self cleaning of old where all you had to do once cycle complete was to wipe up the ash. I spoke to KitchenAide about it and the person I talked to said that they had numerous compaints concerning this problem. I can't understand why they continue to manufacture andsell this model given the fact that the technology does not work.

Horrible customer service

RonM1966 3/7/2019

I purchased this range and it was delivered today. The product description list as a key features a wireless meat probe which was missing from the delivery. When I called customer service they say oh no this is an optional feature. I sent the picture from the catalog showing it as a key feature not an optional feature. When I spoke to a supervisor she simply stated the same thing. When you spend nearly $3000 on a stove you sort of expect better customer service. Especially when your talking about a $30 item that's supposed to be included. Won't spend anymore money with whirlpool or kitchen aid

Breaking my heart

Cape Cod Chicky 2/23/2019

I purchased this range in August 2018 and I thought it was just me trying to get use to using it, but the temperature will NOT stay with what it is set at. Mostly everything I bake/cook is at a 350 oven and whether I use the convection or regular bake the temp will get to the set temp and after I put in the item, the temperature drops and will not rise back to the set temp. for example, I just baked brownies, set at 350, when preheated, I put it in, set the timer for 25 minutes and checked at 20 minutes- did not open the oven door, I shut off oven and immediately turned it back on to bake at 350 and the temperature is at 330...and of course the brownies were not baked. This also happens when I use the convection. I have adjusted my cook temps higher to accommodate this issue, but so disappointed I have to do this.

Horrible oven cleaning

Beegee 2/22/2019

This range was purchased last September and the oven cleaning system is,horrible. It's supposed to steam clean but the temperature does get above lukewarm. We phoned customer service who told us this gets lots of complaints so you can add us on too . All they offered was to send us a chemical kit.

It does it all!

WellesleyBobby 2/12/2019

I bought this range, having looked at it in several appliance showrooms. It offered more than I need and am appreciative for all the little extras. But I was totally surprised and not pleased that the center burner was oval. It was a round burner in each venue I visited. I don't need or use a grill or griddle pan. I wanted the round burner. Disappointing. No one told me of the change. Very disappointing!

Good looking, but has issues

Philip A. 2/11/2019

In August of 2016, we bought a slide-in gas range after a kitchen remodel. We picked this Kitchenaid because it was good looking, and one of only 3 options for a slide-in gas range at HD. We ended up purchasing the Kitchenaid dishwasher and refrigerator as well (so everything would match). Two years in, I have a few thoughts on the range. Like I said, it is a good looking stove, so no issues there. It's as easy to clean as any other stove I've owned and the oven heats up in an average time. One big thing I did not like right off the bat was how all five ignition/pilot lights go off when you only light one burner. I called about this when we first got the stove and they said that's the way it was designed. After two years I don't notice it as much, but it's a poor design and should be fixed. After about a year, the fan will kick in when the stove is heating up (I assume it's the convection fan because the manual says the stove uses the convection fan to heat up the oven, even when not using the convection feature). It is super loud and sounds almost broken. After about 10 minutes it stops being loud and all is well (although the fan still runs, it just stops making this terrible noise). It does not make the noise again unless heating up from cold and does not do this every time I use it. I've googled about this issue for a year and no one else complains about it. It could be just my stove. This is not a huge deal, but it is annoying and I paid a lot of money for this oven. It should work properly. Third, when the oven is on, the top vent blows out hot air. Like, really hot air. Like, it will heat up a frying pan if you put it on the back part of the stove top where the vent is located. I don't think this is unique to Kitchenaid, but something to be aware of if you want to take something out of the oven and let it cool, don't put it on the back part of the stove top. I burned myself grabbing a plate I set back there when I first got the stove and didn't know any better. Blowing 400 degree hot air out the top of an oven seems like a bad idea. I'm no engineer, but that seems stupid to me. Fourth/fifth, the touch display screen can be a little sensitive and the chrome top around the display scratches easily. Not a huge deal and probably not unique to Kitchenaid either. But something to think about when you buy a range. Overall, I like how the stove looks. It's functional. But I don't think I'd buy another one.

Frustrated

asudbey 2/9/2019

We just installed this range after remodeling our kitchen and I'm so disappointed. Our opening is exactly 30 inches and there's such a big gap between the stove and countertop a butter knife can fall down. My old slide in went over the counter top and had a much nicer built in look. I'm not sure if there's some kind of trim kit that's sold to fix this or what but why pay the extra for a slide in if this is the result. Also the baking drawer isn't attached on one side so it's completely uneven and I'm not sure if it's even functional. I tried using the oven for the first time today and the entire door and control panel got so hot I couldn't touch them. This doesn't seem good for the range itself and now I don't know what to do for use and I'm terrified of my two toddlers touching the front and burning themselves. I was so excited about my new kitchen aid appliance package but this stove has proven to be a major letdown already.

Really Nice Features

Connie8 2/6/2019

I bought this stove to replace the same model level I bought 12 years ago and because I have a thing about my appliances matching. I really love some of the newer features such as the griddle and the warming drawer. I think the price is a bit high compared to the competition, so I really hope it outperforms my last one that had igniter issues almost from the day I got it. KitchenAid was great in their attempts to fix it under warranty, but it would only fail now and then until it got older and, of course, never when repair people were here! I know from the recent attempts to repair it that it is now a known defect and totally different in this new model. I really like it!

The Cook Loves This Range

Diane The Cook, 2/4/2019

We chose KA appliances for the kitchen in our new home. They have been installed for approximately 3 months, though I have only been cooking on the range for 1 week, since we have just started living in the house full time. I am a cooking enthusiast and bread baker. I have cooked on all 5 stovetop burners, to verify performance/confidence testing, including using the griddle accessory. We also purchased the wok ring, though I have not used it yet. A nice feature to have, as I do use a round bottom and a flat bottom wok frequently. In my previous home, I had a much more expensive professional cooktop, which I was happy with. When we built this home, we lived in our weekend place, which had a 30" range (from another manufacturer) and I found it to be better than adequate, thus. deciding the excess and cost of the larger range was not necessary. We also have a KA counter depth French door Refrigerator, a trash compactor and dishwasher. We built this home with Made in America products [as much as possible]. Love those 'America' badges on the appliances. For the bread baking, I have made Beautiful Burger Buns (KAF), using the oven proof cycle for 2nd rise. I did find the bake time was a bit longer than in my other gas convection oven. Worked well-be sure to cover your levains with plastic wrap, rather than a tea towel, to prevent drying. The heat of Proof feature is low enough to use plastic wrap. For my second bread-Sourdough, baked in a Dutch oven. Fantastic result! Same time to bake as in my other gas range oven. 450deg for 40 minutes, covered, then 10 minutes additional with lid off. I used the baking drawer to keep a casserole warm during cocktail hour and found the drawer to be very useful. It is low profile for low side baking dishes/pans. Do a fit check with your pans before use. I am ok with the cleaning feature, which does not use excessive fuel/heat. I tend to cook clean and use an outdoor grill and smoker for spattering type foods. Wiping the oven interior after use keeps it easy clean, while food spatter hasn't baked on too much. Three things I would like to have capability for: 1. Double burner for wok cooking, which my husband thinks modification of existing high output burner may be possible. 2. A lid for the griddle, to be used to contain heat and enhance melt when making stuffed French toast or grilled cheese. I grill mine open face, then stack to serve. 3. WiFi probe and timer alert. All things considered, I am glad we chose this range. Great value and performance!

Help!

Sarah888 1/22/2019

We just had our new Kitchenaid range installed today. With gas ranges in the past, we have always had a fan running either during operating the oven or once we were done to cool the oven down. There is no running fan at any point. Is this normal?? I couldn't find any info in the manual regarding this. Please advise!!!

Love the cooktop Heat the oven

Ware51 1/20/2019

I received this range in October 2017. It is a replacement for the range I purchase in Dec 2015. the cooktop top is great one the instant heart and at the adjustability of the burners. Now for the oven. It use the aqua lift lift system to clean it. What a joke does not matter how many times I clean the oven, even with some elbow grease it never comes clean. There are many cycles on the oven which work great. I only rate the range fair do to the cleaning problem. I am 67 years old and it is very hard for me to scrub the inside of the oven. for the Price it should be much easier to maintain .
